860v3 'NYC Marathon'

Inspired by graffiti throughout New York, New Balance prepared a special rendition of the 860v3 ahead of the 2012 New York City Marathon. Designed in conjunction with illustrator Jimmy Crayon, the sneaker references the five boroughs with different New York landmarks. The vibrant yellow and blue tones also work a subtle New Balance logo onto the heel in the shape of an apple as a nod to the city’s ‘Big Apple’ nickname.
