William J. Riley, the founder of New Balance, was inspired by the balance of chickens as they ran, thus the name 'New Balance' came to be. Taking a cue from Riley's idea, the Boston brand released a 'Chicken Run' pack in 2008. Donning a two-toned suede upper, the running shoe sports a grey, colorway from the midfoot to the toe with a running man motif while a purple hue provides gentle contrast on the heel and outsole. New Balance branding stands out on the sides and tongue.
